Pakistan’s T20 captain Salman Agha said the team is ready for the upcoming Super Four clash against India.
He acknowledged that Pakistan has yet to deliver its best game, noting Shaheen Afridi as a key match-winner and praising Abrar Ahmed for his consistent bowling. He also stressed the need for improvement in the middle order, adding that strong batting in the middle overs could push the total to 170 against any side.
Pakistan and India are set to meet again in the Super Four on Sunday, September 21. Both teams advanced from Group A, with India still to play Oman.
In Group B, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh lead with four points each, while Afghanistan holds two points but boasts a better run rate than Bangladesh. Afghanistan’s chances depend on its match against Sri Lanka, with net run rate likely to decide the qualifiers for the Super Four.
