Rockstar’s GTA VI Launch Date Announcement Revealed

In December, Rockstar debuted GTA VI’s first trailer, confirming its highly anticipated release in 2025. Now, according to Take-Two Interactive’s fiscal report, the parent company of Rockstar, we have a more precise launch timeframe: fall 2025.
Take-Two’s fiscal year concludes in March, with a forecasted 10% increase in net income over the next 12 months. The Chairman and CEO of Take-Two Interactive commented on GTA VI, stating:

“Our outlook reflects a refinement of Rockstar Games’ previously stated window from Calendar 2025 to Fall of Calendar 2025 for Grand Theft Auto VI. We have great confidence that Rockstar Games will deliver an unparalleled entertainment experience, and our expectations for the title’s commercial impact continue to grow.”
An executive noted projections for steady increases in net bookings over the next three years. Take-Two, which owns 2K and Private Division, announced the release of NBA 2K25, WWE 2K25, and Tales of the Shire: A Lord of the Rings Game by the end of fiscal 2025 (before March 2025). Additionally, mobile-exclusive titles such as Star Wars Hunters and Game of Thrones: Legends are also in the pipeline.
