The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has announced plans to build the city’s first dedicated cycling track, with project planning already underway. This track, which will run from Katchari Chowk to the Faizabad Interchange, aims to connect Rawalpindi with Islamabad and promote sustainable commuting options between the twin cities.
RDA Director General Kinza Murtaza shared the update with the press, highlighting that the track will be constructed on both sides of the road and will also accommodate motorcyclists, offering them a designated space to ease urban commuting.
