The Rawalpindi Chief Traffic Officer, Farhan Aslam, announced that the number of driving test tracks has been increased from one to two. This expansion aims to meet the growing demand for driving tests in the city.
Additional vehicles have also been added to the facility, allowing applicants to complete their driving tests more efficiently. Citizens now have the option to take tests in both automatic and manual vehicles, providing greater flexibility.
The Traffic Headquarters in Rawalpindi continues to offer same-day issuance of learner and permanent driving licenses for motorcyclists. This facility has been praised by residents for saving time and streamlining the licensing process.
A traffic police spokesperson urged Rawalpindi residents to take advantage of the improved services. “The upgraded facilities are designed to make the licensing process smoother, faster, and more convenient for everyone,” the spokesperson said.
