Rawalpindi Division to Reopen Educational Institutions as AQI Improves

Following a decrease in smog levels and an improvement in the air quality index, the Rawalpindi Division has announced the reopening of all public and private educational institutions.

The Environment Protection Agency issued a notification confirming that educational activities will resume on November 19 in Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Attock, and Chakwal.

This decision came after a recommendation from the Commissioner of Rawalpindi, who highlighted that reopening schools would help enhance the region’s overall air quality. The move aims to restore normal educational operations while prioritizing environmental safety.
