The Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has announced the postponement of all exams scheduled for tomorrow due to the closure of schools and colleges, as declared by the Punjab government. This decision was made following a government notification regarding the holiday on Friday.
The board’s chairman explained that the revised schedule for the postponed exams would be communicated to students in due time. He assured students and parents that updates would be provided as soon as possible.

The Punjab government had declared a province-wide holiday for all public and private colleges and universities, following concerns about potential student protests related to rumors of a sexual assault case at a private college. The Punjab Higher Education Department confirmed the closure in a notification, stating that the decision was made to prevent unrest and ensure the safety and security of educational institutions, as advised by the Punjab Home Department.
