Afghanistan’s star spinner, Rashid Khan, has made a heartfelt commitment to assist the victims of a devastating earthquake in his home country. Rashid Khan has pledged to donate all of his match fees from the entire 2023 ODI World Cup towards the rehabilitation and recovery efforts in the earthquake-affected areas of Afghanistan.

The earthquake primarily struck the western provinces of Herat, Farah, and Badghis, prompting Rashid Khan’s compassionate response. Rashid Khan stated, “Upon hearing of the tragic consequences of the earthquake in the western provinces of Afghanistan, I am deeply saddened.

I have decided to contribute all my earnings from the Cricket World Cup 2023 to assist those in need. Additionally, we will soon launch a fundraising campaign to encourage others to provide support to the affected people.”
