Rajab Butt Criticizes Fahad Mustafa Again, Calls for Greater Respect Towards Juniors

Rajab Butt Calls Out Fahad Mustafa, Offers Advice on Respect and Media Divides

Rajab Butt, who has been facing backlash over his controversial perfume “295” and earlier remarks, recently made an appearance on a podcast where he revisited his criticism of Fahad Mustafa and shared his perspective on the divide between traditional media and digital creators.

Criticism of Fahad Mustafa’s Conduct

In his remarks aimed at Fahad Mustafa, Rajab Butt emphasized the importance of respect, particularly for senior figures in the industry. He stated, “A senior is the one who makes himself worthy of respect. Respect is earned. Even a ninth-grade student won’t stay silent if you speak badly to him. Seniors should behave like seniors — that’s it.”

Reflecting on advice from his grandfather, Butt shared, “The biggest happiness for seniors is seeing their juniors succeed. You should embrace that we have arrived.”

Defending Digital Creators

Rajab Butt also addressed the criticism that digital creators often face from the television fraternity. He pointed out the irony of TV personalities criticizing content creators, saying, “Everyone is selling their families — but you’re selfish because you’re selling other people’s families. If TV dramas are enough on their own, why upload them to your YouTube channel with 60 million subscribers? If you do it, it’s called your job. But if we do the same, we’re accused of crossing the line?”

Loss of Respect for Fahad Mustafa

The YouTuber shared that while he once admired Fahad Mustafa for hosting the popular show Jeeto Pakistan, his respect faded after the actor’s remarks about digital creators. “I used to like him a lot, especially for Jeeto Pakistan. I never watched his dramas because I’m not into those. But after that statement, I lost respect for him,” Butt explained.

Advice for Fahad Mustafa

When asked if he had any advice for Fahad Mustafa, Rajab Butt replied, “Whenever you see a junior coming, appreciate him instead of degrading him and losing your respect in his eyes.”

A Growing Divide: Traditional Media vs. Digital Creators

This ongoing exchange highlights the growing divide between traditional media personalities and the rising digital content creators in Pakistan. Rajab Butt has positioned himself as a vocal advocate for the new wave of digital creators, calling for greater respect and understanding between the two factions of the media industry.
