Rain could potentially disrupt both the highly anticipated India-Pakistan match scheduled for October 14 and the Navratri festival, as per the India Meteorological Department (IMD), which has forecasted the possibility of light showers in the city and northern Gujarat during that period.
According to the latest weather update from the IMD, there’s a chance of light rain occurring at “scattered locations” in northern Gujarat, including Ahmedabad, on both October 14 and 15.

While the weather is expected to stay dry in Gujarat for the next five days, isolated areas in Ahmedabad district might experience light showers. The skies are predicted to be overcast, and the following day, there’s a possibility of light rain in Ahmedabad and the northern districts, according to the IMD.
