Punjab Offers Bonus To Christian Workers

Maryam Nawaz, the Chief of Punjab, has announced bonuses for Christian employees of the Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) in honor of Good Friday and Easter. The employees will receive a bonus of Rs5,000 on the occasion of these religious festivals.

The HR department of LWMC, under the guidance of CEO Babar Din, has issued a notification regarding this decision. According to the notification, a total of 9199 sanitary workers, 73 supervisors, 250 drivers, and 6 helpers will be eligible for the Good Friday and Easter bonuses.

To ensure a clean environment before the Good Friday holiday, a zero waste operation will be conducted throughout the city, with all workers dedicating an additional 2 hours in the field.

Before Easter ceremonies commence, special cleaning efforts will be undertaken in 266 churches across the city, along with manual sweeping and scraping in 78 Christian colonies.
