Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz arrived in Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah during the holy month of Ramazan, accompanying Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Her visit coincides with millions of Muslims traveling to the holy cities for Umrah during this sacred time. Beyond religious significance, her trip also reflects her role in provincial leadership and humanitarian efforts.

Before departing, Maryam met her father, Nawaz Sharif, who prayed for her well-being and the delegation’s safety.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif engaged with top Saudi officials, including Investment Minister Khalid Al-Falih and Mohammad Al-Tuwaijri in Jeddah. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to supporting Saudi investors and highlighted opportunities in energy, infrastructure, agriculture, and technology through the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
