In response to the escalating India-Pakistan crisis, Punjab’s Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz, has declared a state of emergency.
All doctors and medical staff in Punjab hospitals are required to remain on duty, with their leaves cancelled. Officers and staff from civil defense and other relevant agencies have also been mobilized.

According to the notification, Punjab police officials have been instructed to stay on duty until further notice.
