The Punjab government has announced the initiation of summer camps in both private and government schools starting from June 20. According to the notification, the summer camps will operate in two sessions: from 7 am to 10 am and from 4 pm to 7 pm.
Attendance at these summer camps will not be compulsory for students; participation will require parental permission. The notification specifies that schools must provide essential facilities such as generators, cold water, and fans. Students will also not be mandated to wear uniforms during the camp.

The school education department has emphasized that the curriculum for the summer camps should include subjects like artificial intelligence, IT, and robotics. These camps are scheduled to run for 30 days, beginning on June 20.
