On Tuesday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Spokesperson Raoof Hasan was released from Adiala Jail following the issuance of a release warrant by the Islamabad Anti-Terrorism Court. His release came after being granted bail in a case related to the recovery of explosives.

Hasan was welcomed outside the jail by Advocate Shaista Khosa and Raja Yasir, who accompanied him post-release. His detention began on August 3 when he was sent to judicial remand by the Anti-Terrorism Court of Islamabad. Earlier, on August 2, Hasan had already been granted bail in a separate case under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA).
