Committee member Faisal Chaudhry confirmed they are ready to proceed once all permissions are granted. Sahibzada Hamid Raza stated that the PTI and allied parties’ delegation will meet Khan at 2:30 PM, with members already on their way to Islamabad.
This meeting is part of ongoing dialogue efforts with the Sharif-led government.
Following the second round of talks, PTI requested “unmonitored and unhindered” access to Khan, but the government denied it earlier, citing the need for written demands and jail manual restrictions on surveillance.
PTI leaders Omar Ayub and Asad Qaiser contacted National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq to arrange the meeting, which the speaker communicated to the government. Tensions have escalated between PTI, the government, and the establishment since Khan’s imprisonment, sparking violent protests and crackdowns.
