Authorities accused PTI leadership of inciting violence, damaging public property, and attempting to disrupt public order. The Taxila FIR is focused on violence near the protests, while the Dhamyal FIR targets key PTI figures, including Bushra Bibi and Ali Amin Gandapur.
Despite the protests failing to reach Islamabad and being halted at Burhan Interchange, convoys led by CM Gandapur have resumed their march toward the capital. Reports indicate 1,257 PTI workers, including legislators, were detained during the crackdown, as twin city entry points remain sealed and security heightened ahead of the nationwide demonstrations.
