The Election Commission has released results for 252 seats, revealing a closely contested battle among PTI-backed independents and the two major political players. Independent candidates have secured 100 seats so far, positioning them as a significant player in the political landscape. PML-N stands as the second-largest party with 71 seats, closely followed by PPP with 54 seats.

In the province of Sindh, MQM-P has made a notable impact by securing at least 17 National Assembly seats. This adds to the complexity of the overall political scenario.
Beyond the major players, other parties have also secured seats. PML-Q has claimed at least three seats, while Jahangir Tareen’s Independent Power Project (IPP) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) have each secured two seats. Akhtar Mengal’s Balochistan National Party (BNP), Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Pakistan, and Pakistan Muslim League-Z have managed to secure one seat each.
However, some political entities such as Jamaat-e-Islami, Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA), and Awami National Party have not been able to secure a single seat in the National Assembly as of now.
The evolving results indicate a diverse political landscape with multiple parties making their presence felt. The close competition and the significant role played by independent candidates underscore the dynamic nature of the electoral process in shaping the composition of the National Assembly in the ongoing elections.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
