The workshop is expected to be an essential forum for regional experts to share ideas, experiences, and best practises, as well as participate in dialogue to identify problems, opportunities, and next steps on work items assigned to the SATRC Working Group on Policy, Regulations, and Services (WG PRS). PTA is a founder member of the forum and the current chair of SATRC Working Group PRS.

The Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT) founded the SATRC in 1999. SATRC provides a forum for South Asian telecommunications regulators to debate regulations governing telecommunications and information and communication technology (ICT).[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
