The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially confirmed the PSL 11 Player Auction, set to take place at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Lahore’s Expo Center. The announcement comes as teams prepare to finalize their squads ahead of the new season.
The Expo Center recently hosted the Multan Sultans franchise auction. The team was sold to Walee Technologies for Rs. 245 crore. The new owners have decided to rebrand the franchise and shift its base from Multan to Rawalpindi, marking a significant change for the upcoming season.
Ahead of the PSL 11 Player Auction, the PCB confirmed four base price slabs. Once players enter their respective categories, franchises can freely bid. Each team is required to assemble a squad of 16 to 20 players, including five to seven foreign players, depending on squad size.
All players selected or retained for PSL 11 will sign two-year contracts with their franchises. Additionally, franchises can directly sign one foreign player who did not participate in PSL 10.
The standard franchise purse has been set at Rs. 45 crore, but the PCB may extend it to Rs. 50.5 crore to facilitate direct overseas signings. The board has assured teams of full support in attracting top international talent for the upcoming season.
Franchises are expected to finalize their auction strategies in the coming days. Analysts say the PSL 11 Player Auction will be highly competitive, with teams looking to strengthen key positions and secure marquee players.
With the auction approaching, cricket fans are eagerly waiting to see which players will join new teams and how the rebranded franchises will shape the 2026 season. The event is expected to draw significant attention from fans and media alike.
