The declaration was made by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari during a press conference, where he also disclosed that Awais Qadir Shahi and Naveed Anthony would be the party’s nominees for the roles of Sindh Assembly Speaker and Deputy Speaker, respectively.
This announcement coincides with the impending oath-taking ceremony of the newly-elected members of the Sindh Assembly scheduled for the following day, Saturday.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari took the opportunity to reiterate that his party would not be participating in the federal cabinet, emphasizing that they had not made any requests for ministerial positions. During the press conference, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari highlighted that the initiative to reconstruct houses in flood-affected areas faced obstacles during the elections but assured that it would be resumed shortly. Emphasizing the need for improved performance compared to the past, he pledged to address water-related concerns promptly.
