Gold’s Winning Streak Ends In Pakistan

Gold’s winning streak in the Pakistani domestic market came to an end on Friday, aligning with the global downward trend in prices. According to data provided by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola experienced a decline of Rs1,200, settling at Rs214,100. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs1,029, closing at Rs183,556.
On the international front, the price of gold decreased by $11, reaching $2,040 per ounce. In contrast, silver prices remained stable at Rs2,570 per tola and Rs2,203.36 per 10 grams in the country.

The previous day saw a rise in the per tola gold price by Rs100, reaching Rs215,300. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold surged by Rs85, settling at Rs184,585. In the international market, the price of this precious metal had increased by $3, reaching $2,051.
