[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) refuted claims of any communication between Sher Afzal Marwat, a leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and Asif Ali Zardari, the former president.

Earlier, PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat had asserted that he received a call from Asif Ali Zardari the previous night.

In response to Marwat’s statements, a spokesperson for the PPP stated that the co-chairman of the party had discussed the possibility of independent candidates supported by the PTI forming a government. However, Zardari had already announced his support for the PML-N for the position of prime minister.

The PPP spokesperson dismissed Marwat’s comments, suggesting that they should not be taken seriously. The statement clarified that Asif Zardari engages in substantive discussions with members of various political parties.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
