During the cross-examination, Imran Khan’s legal counsel, Advocate Muhammad Hussain Chotya, questioned whether the prime minister had a copy of the defamation suit in hand. PM Shehbaz admitted he did not and requested a short adjournment while his legal team arranged for a copy.
The court allowed the brief recess. The case revolves around allegations made by Imran Khan, which Shehbaz Sharif claims were baseless and damaging to his reputation.
