He confirmed that the coalition government will complete its term in August and hand over power to a caretaker setup, dispelling any rumors of an extension.
Shehbaz emphasized that the coalition government, though brief, faced significant challenges and difficulties while demonstrating collective wisdom and implementing prudent policies. He highlighted achievements in economic stability, relief efforts for flood victims, curbing inflation, and promoting freedom of speech and national integration.

Shehbaz acknowledged the hurdles created by the previous government’s deviation from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) agreement but expressed gratitude to friendly countries like China, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE for their unwavering support.
He announced a comprehensive national plan for economic revival, including the establishment of a Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) to attract investments from Gulf countries. Shehbaz also stressed the importance of completing public welfare projects without politicization and encouraged youth participation in the country’s development.
He expressed confidence in completing the expansion of Nishtar Hospital II by September 30 and proposed the establishment of a Medical City in the area.
