PM Shehbaz Appreciates Saudi Arabia’s Continued Financial Support to Pakistan

Shehbaz Sharif, referred to as PM Shehbaz, has appreciated Saudi Arabia’s long-standing financial support during a high-level meeting in Islamabad. The meeting took place at the Prime Minister’s House during the visit of Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan.

The Saudi minister arrived in Islamabad for a one-day visit. His trip comes at a time when Pakistan is hosting important peace talks between Iran and the United States. The meeting highlighted the importance of strong diplomatic ties during a sensitive regional situation.

During the discussion, PM Shehbaz warmly welcomed the Saudi dignitary. He also conveyed his regards to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Mohammed bin Salman. He recalled his recent conversation with the Crown Prince and described it as positive and constructive.

PM Shehbaz expressed gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s continued financial assistance. He said the support has played a key role in maintaining Pakistan’s economic stability. He also noted that the relationship between the two countries is based on mutual respect and trust.

The meeting was attended by senior Pakistani officials. These included Ishaq Dar and Asim Munir. Both sides discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation in different sectors.

The Prime Minister emphasized Pakistan’s desire to expand collaboration with Saudi Arabia. He highlighted opportunities in trade, investment, and economic development. He said both countries can benefit from closer economic ties.

In response, the Saudi finance minister thanked the Prime Minister for the warm welcome. He reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s commitment to strengthening relations with Pakistan. He said the Kingdom values its long-standing partnership with Pakistan.

After the meeting, the Saudi minister was seen off at Islamabad International Airport by Muhammad Aurangzeb. The two leaders briefly discussed ongoing economic cooperation and future engagements.
