Official sources report that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif approved the reduction in petroleum product prices, following a proposal by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA). The Ministry of Finance is expected to issue a formal notification regarding the new prices shortly. These changes will take effect from midnight tonight, offering consumers much-needed relief amid rising fuel costs.

This move is particularly welcome amid the current economic challenges and inflationary pressures. The reduction in fuel prices is anticipated to ease the financial strain on consumers and provide some respite in these difficult economic times.
