In contrast, kerosene oil will see a reduction of Rs3.82 per liter, resulting in a new price of Rs211.03 per liter, down from its previous rate of Rs214.85 per liter. Previous Price: Petrol Prices Drop By Rs.40 Per Litre in Pakistan
Petrol is primarily used in motor vehicles and serves as an alternative to compressed natural gas (CNG), particularly in Punjab, where locally produced gas is unavailable at CNG filling stations. Diesel is extensively utilized in the transportation and agricultural sectors, and any increase in its price has a significant inflationary impact.
Kerosene oil is commonly employed for cooking purposes in remote areas, especially in the northern regions of the country where liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is not readily accessible for cooking. Additionally, the Pakistan Army is a significant user of kerosene oil in these areas.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
