The schedule for the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has officially been released, with a total of 44 matches set to take place between March 26 and May 3. The upcoming season is expected to be one of the most exciting yet, as the league expands for the first time with the addition of two new franchises.
For the first time in PSL history, eight teams will compete in the tournament. The newly introduced franchises, Hyderabad Kingsmen and Rawalpindi, will join the existing teams, increasing competition and bringing fresh energy to the league. Cricket fans across Pakistan are eagerly awaiting the expanded format, which promises more matches and greater regional representation.
Matches in PSL 11 will be played across six different cities, broadening the reach of the tournament. Notably, Faisalabad and Peshawar will host PSL games for the very first time, marking a significant step in taking top-level cricket to more parts of the country. The opening match of the tournament is scheduled to be held at the iconic Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
During the league stage, each team will play 10 matches before the competition moves into the playoff phase, which is set to begin on April 28. Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host 11 matches, including one qualifier, while Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will stage the highest number of fixtures with a total of 15 matches.
In another first for the league, Faisalabad will host seven PSL matches, giving local fans a chance to witness the tournament live. Similarly, Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium in Peshawar will also stage PSL matches for the first time. Meanwhile, Multan Cricket Stadium is set to host four matches during the event.
Additionally, National Bank Stadium in Karachi will hold six matches in the tournament. The schedule also includes 12 double-header days, ensuring fans enjoy multiple matches in a single day throughout the competition.
