Pakistan’s textile exports experienced a 17.6 percent increase in September 2024, amounting to $1.605 billion, up from $1.364 billion in September 2023, according to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
However, there was a 2.4 percent decline in exports compared to the previous month, with August 2024 recording $1.644 billion in textile exports.

For the first quarter of FY25, textile exports totaled $4.520 billion, reflecting a 9.3 percent rise from $4.134 billion reported in the same period of FY24.
In terms of specific categories, Knitwear led the exports in September 2024 with $448 million, followed by Readymade Garments at $338 million, Bed Wear at $290 million, and Cotton Cloth at $201 million.
