The International Hockey Federation has officially released the match schedule for the Hockey World Cup 2026. Pakistan will begin its campaign on the opening day, creating excitement among fans and hockey enthusiasts worldwide.

Pakistan’s first match is against England on August 15 at 10:00 PM in Amstelveen. The team’s second fixture is against Wales on August 17 at 3:30 PM. The group stage highlight will be the match against arch-rivals India on August 19 at 6:00 PM, which is expected to attract global attention.

The official schedule follows the pool draw conducted at Wagener Stadium. The ceremony was attended by FIH President Tayyab Ikram, FIH Vice-President and EuroHockey President Marcos Hofman, along with head coaches and captains from Belgium, the Netherlands, and other participating nations.

The Hockey World Cup 2026 features 16 teams divided into four pools. Pool A includes co-hosts NetherlandsDutch national hockey team”], Japan, Argentina, and New Zealand. Pool B features co-hosts entity[“country”,”Belgium”,”Belgian national hockey team”], defending champions Germany second stage. Pool E will include top teams from Pools A and D, while Pool F will have top teams from Pools B and C. The leading teams will move on to semi-finals, with the final scheduled at Belfius Hockey Arena on August 30.
