The global market surge led to a slight increase in local gold prices. In international markets, gold rose $7 per ounce to $2342.
In local jewelry markets, 24-carat gold per tola increased by 500 rupees to 241,700 rupees, while per 10 grams rose by 429 rupees to 207,219 rupees.

Local gold prices lagged behind international prices by 3000 rupees due to reduced purchasing power. Silver prices remained stable at 2900 rupees per tola and 2486.28 rupees per 10 grams.
