Pakistan's First Locally Assembled Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid Launched

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]The Indus Motor Company (IMC), the manufacturer of Toyota vehicles in Pakistan, has introduced a new model to the Corolla lineup. This addition is a crossover SUV, marking the company’s inaugural venture into locally produced hybrid vehicles.

With a substantial investment of $100 million in hybrid vehicle manufacturing within Pakistan, IMC has unveiled the 4th generation Toyota Corolla Cross hybrid. The SUV is set to be released in two variants: the Toyota Corolla Cross (Non-Hybrid) and the Toyota Corolla Cross HEV (Hybrid Electric Vehicle).

The debut of the Corolla Cross took place at what appears to be a line-off ceremony, revealing a sleek and athletic design with features such as a double trapezoid front grille, LED projection headlights, and daytime running lights on the front curtain.

The local unveiling of the Corolla Cross Hybrid occurred at a ceremony in Karachi, attended by officials and government representatives. IMC expressed gratitude to stakeholders for their support, emphasizing the milestone as a testament to the enduring friendship between Islamabad and Tokyo.

During the event, officials highlighted the increasing preference for Hybrid Electric Vehicles among consumers in Asia. IMC expressed optimism that customers would eagerly embrace the Corolla Cross HEV.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
