Sajjad Mazahir, General Manager of China Operations at Keywin Trading Ltd, explained to China Economic Net (CEN) that China’s growing demand for Pakistan cotton textiles is due to the country’s ability to balance exports with local downstream orders. He highlighted Pakistan’s expanding market share in China’s domestic market, attributing it to competitive prices and quality in products such as cotton, cotton yarns, and Griege fabric.

Moreover, recent reports indicated a substantial increase in Pakistan’s cement exports, which surged by 45.96 percent in April 2024 compared to the same month the previous year. The All Pakistan Cement Manufacturers Association reported that cement exports reached 614,264 tons in April 2024, compared to 420,857 tons in April last year.
