Pakistani National Anthem Played on Indian YouTube Channels

The Ministry of Information has strategically used technology to broadcast Pakistan’s national anthem as an advertisement on Indian YouTube channels, in response to India’s blocking of Pakistani channels, according to state-run Radio Pakistan.

The anthem highlights the resolve, skill, and patriotism of the Pakistan Army in safeguarding the nation.

The move sparked a strong reaction online, with Indian social media users criticizing their government for failing to control the narrative. Despite censorship efforts, Pakistan’s message continues to reach audiences beyond Indian borders, gaining an edge in the ongoing information war.

Pakistan’s decision to suspend its airspace for Indian flights for one month — until May 23 — has led to over 1,000 affected flights and significant losses for Indian carriers.

This ban also applies to aircraft leased by Indian companies and operated domestically. Major airlines like Air India, Akasa Air, IndiGo, and SpiceJet have been forced to cancel or reroute flights, with many passengers reporting they were denied refunds.
