[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]Renowned Pakistani classical maestro Ustad Hussain Baksh Gullo, honored with the Pride of Performance award, passed away in Lahore on Tuesday. With a musical legacy spanning 55 years, he was widely recognized as an ambassador of classical music, particularly excelling in thumri and Multani kafi singing.
Gullo, a descendant of the illustrious Patiala Gharana, was the son of the esteemed vocalist Ustad Nathu Khan. He is survived by his singing sons, Suraj and Chand.

Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi conveyed his condolences on the demise of Ustad Hussain Baksh Gullo. The Alhamra Arts Council, where he graced numerous events with his performances, paid heartfelt tributes to the departed maestro in a tweet.

Hailing from the Sham Chorasi Gharana and being the brother-in-law of Ustad Salamat Ali Khan, Ustad Hussain Baksh Gullo also held the distinguished position of being the uncle to Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan.
