[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]The Utility Stores Corporation has made a noteworthy announcement, declaring a substantial reduction in the prices of ghee and cooking oil, providing significant relief to the public just ahead of Ramadan 2024. This move is part of an effort to alleviate the financial burden on consumers during the upcoming holy month.

In addition to ghee and cooking oil, the corporation has also implemented price cuts on various other essential items, such as soap and washing powder. The reduction in prices spans across different brands, with ghee and cooking oil witnessing a decrease of up to Rs100 per kilogram. Similarly, the prices of branded tea have also been slashed by up to Rs100.

This initiative aims to address the economic concerns of the public, particularly as the holy month of Ramadan approaches. Ramadan is a period of heightened consumption, and these price reductions are expected to ease the financial strain on households during this time.

To further extend support, the Utility Stores Corporation is set to launch a Ramadan relief package from the upcoming month. This package will specifically cater to members of the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), ensuring that those in need have access to essential commodities at more affordable rates during the month of fasting.

As the holy month is anticipated to commence on either March 11 or 12 in Pakistan, the timely reduction in prices aligns with the spirit of Ramadan, emphasizing compassion and assistance to those in the community.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
