The Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation (PBC) in Islamabad has completed the Pakistan-Turkiye Friendship Radio Museum, a project funded by the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA). This unique digital museum, inspired by Turkey’s Seljuk period design, is the first of its kind. TIKA provided the financial resources for the project and officially handed over the completed museum to Radio Pakistan’s Director-General, Saeed Ahmed Shaikh, in a ceremony attended by TIKA head Durson Ali and representative Mohsin Balci.

A selection committee of museum-making experts is curating the exhibits, with the final list expected to be completed within ten days. The museum’s official opening will be held by Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, and Secretary Amberin Jan. Once inaugurated, it will be open to the public, showcasing the deep cultural and historical bonds between Pakistan and Turkey.
