Pakistan, Saudi Arabia Sign MoU to Promote Football Development

The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has entered into a formal partnership with the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) to promote football development and cooperation between the two countries.

According to PFF sources, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed on October 18 by PFF President Mohsin Gilani and SAFF President Yasser Al-Misehal. The agreement marks an important milestone in Pakistan’s efforts to strengthen international sports relations and develop local football talent.

Under the new partnership, both federations will work together to improve training programs, coaching standards, and youth development initiatives. The MoU also focuses on infrastructure development and professional exchange opportunities for players and coaches.

Officials said the collaboration is designed to help Pakistan learn from Saudi Arabia’s successful football programs. Saudi Arabia has made major progress in recent years, hosting global football stars and investing heavily in domestic leagues.

By joining hands, Pakistan aims to benefit from Saudi expertise in football management, training systems, and talent identification. The initiative is also expected to open doors for Pakistani players to participate in training camps and tournaments in Saudi Arabia.
