Petrol prices in Pakistan have been slashed by Rs4.74 per liter, with diesel prices reduced by Rs3.80 per liter. This marks the third consecutive bi-weekly reduction in petrol prices by the federal government, reflecting a global oil price decline.
The new petrol price is now Rs268.36 per liter, down from Rs273.10, while high-speed diesel is priced at Rs270.22 per liter, reduced from Rs274.08.

The finance ministry, citing a decrease in international oil prices, announced the adjustment in consumer prices based on Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) recommendations.
These revised rates will take effect from midnight on June 1 for the next 15 days. The government’s decision to lower prices aligns with OGRA’s advice. Notably, on May 16, there was a significant reduction of over Rs15 per liter in petrol prices.
