The finance ministry, citing a decrease in international oil prices, announced the adjustment in consumer prices based on Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) recommendations.

These revised rates will take effect from midnight on June 1 for the next 15 days. The government’s decision to lower prices aligns with OGRA’s advice. Notably, on May 16, there was a significant reduction of over Rs15 per liter in petrol prices.
