Over the next 24 hours, the weather nationwide is projected to remain dry. However, rain is predicted in the northern areas and is anticipated to extend to other parts of the country.
Moreover, about 70% of Punjab’s areas are expected to receive showers due to the system infiltrating various regions via westerly winds. Additionally, there is a likelihood of moderate to heavy rains in many parts of Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Furthermore, there is a possibility of rain in the northern and southern regions of Balochistan and Sindh.
Meanwhile, various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have witnessed the season’s first pre-winter snowfall. This snowfall persisted for hours and resulted in road blockages in Mansehra and the Kaghan Valley.
The Mansehra-Naran-Jalkhad road was shut for all traffic at Babusar Top. Furthermore, the route connecting KPK to Gilgit-Baltistan was also obstructed, limiting access for motorists and passenger coaches beyond the Battakundi area.
