Pakistan Navy Chief Joins 2023 Seapower Symposium In The USA

In Karachi, Chief of Naval Staff Amjad Khan Niazi participated in the 25th International Seapower Symposium-2023 (ISS-25) held at the US Naval War College in Newport, USA. The symposium featured discussions on common maritime challenges and opportunities to enhance international maritime security cooperation.
During the event, the Pakistan Navy chief conducted bilateral meetings and engagements with high-ranking naval officials from Spain, Azerbaijan, Egypt, Netherlands, and Saudi Arabia.

Amjad Khan Niazi provided an overview of Pakistan’s Maritime Perspective, with a particular emphasis on its contributions to regional maritime security. He highlighted Pakistan Navy’s Regional Maritime Security Patrol initiative, which aims to fulfill international obligations by ensuring a safe and secure maritime environment in the region.
