The early part of the game saw New Zealand U19 winning the toss and opting to bat first. However, this decision backfired as Pakistan’s bowling unit put up a stellar performance. Ubaid Shah, brother of Naseem Shah, and Arfat Minhas emerged as standout bowlers, each claiming three wickets. Their combined efforts played a significant role in limiting the Kiwis to a total of 140 runs.

Ubaid Shah exhibited remarkable bowling skills, concluding with figures of 30-3 in 9 overs. Arfat Minhas complemented this with a superb performance, registering figures of 6-3 in 5 overs. Particularly impressive was Ubaid Shah’s precision in hitting the stumps twice among his three wickets.

The additional support from other bowlers was commendable, with Naveed Ahmed Khan securing 2 crucial wickets, while Muhammad Zeeshan and Ali Asfand each contributing with 1 wicket.

With this resounding victory, Pakistan U19 clinched the top spot in the group, securing their entry into the Super Six stage with ease. The team’s exceptional performance in both batting and bowling has positioned them as a formidable contender in the ongoing U19 Cricket World Cup, reflecting their dominance on the international youth cricket stage.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
