Despite the early dismissals of Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam, the modest target proved to be a straightforward task for the top-ranked one-day team.

Bangladesh Innings :

Confronted by Pakistan’s formidable pace attack, Bangladesh encountered a challenging situation with just 50 runs on the board and four early wickets lost. However, the experienced Bangladeshi duo of Mushfiqur Rahim and Shakib Al Hasan exhibited their resilience, constructing a crucial 100-run partnership.

Nevertheless, the tide turned when Shakib misjudged a delivery from Faheem Ashraf and was caught out near the boundary during the 30th over. After Shakib’s departure, Bangladesh’s following five batsmen struggled to contend with the relentless pace attack, led by Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
