He called on the International Atomic Energy Agency to monitor Israel’s nuclear facilities and urged the international community to respond firmly to this extremism and nuclear recklessness.
Various other politicians, including National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf, strongly denounced the Israeli minister’s statement. Ashraf characterized the threat of using nuclear weapons on innocent Palestinians as evidence of Israeli brutality and warmongering.
He pointed out that Israel’s indiscriminate bombing of Gaza had resulted in the suffering of millions of Palestinian citizens, especially children, women, and the elderly. He called on world powers to take immediate action to halt Israel’s aggressive actions.
The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) also condemned Tel Aviv for its alarming statements, emphasizing the extremist nature of the Zionist occupation’s actions against the Palestinian people.
Previously, Heritage Minister Amichay Eliyahu faced an indefinite suspension after suggesting the use of a nuclear bomb on Gaza. The extremist minister expressed dissatisfaction with the scale of Israel’s response in Palestine.
