Pakistan Cricket Team Extends Independence Day Greetings To Nation

The national cricket team of Pakistan sent heartfelt messages to the public on the occasion of the country’s 78th Independence Day.

Captain Babar Azam led the team in extending greetings. He reminded people about the historic day when Pakistan came into being and urged everyone to reflect on its meaning. He said the sacrifices made by our forefathers must never be forgotten.

Wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan and all-rounder Salman Ali Agha also wished the nation a happy Independence Day. Salman urged citizens to celebrate responsibly and to keep Pakistan clean, showing love and respect for the country.

Fast bowler Shaheen Afridi, pacer Hasan Ali, all-rounders Mohammad Nawaz and Faheem Ashraf also shared their best wishes with fans across the country. Faheem highlighted the hard-earned freedom achieved through great struggle. He said it is the duty of every Pakistani to protect and honour that freedom.

White-ball head coach Mike Hesson also joined in, sending a message of unity and peace to the people of Pakistan. He expressed hope for continued progress and pride for the nation.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) shared the messages through its official platforms. These messages encouraged national unity, respect for the country’s history, and a vision for a better future.

On this day, the players asked everyone to remember those who laid down their lives for Pakistan. They also encouraged the youth to work hard and contribute positively to the country.
