Category A players saw a remarkable 202% increase, while category B players experienced a substantial 144% rise. Category C and D players also enjoyed notable increases of 135% and 127%, respectively. The categorization of players is based on their performance, with new contracts being announced by PCB in September last year.

Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and Muhammad Rizwan were placed in category A, each receiving a monthly salary of Rs4.5 million. Category B includes players like Shadab Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, and Naseem Shah, who earn up to Rs3 million per month. For players in categories C and D, the monthly salary ranges from Rs750,000 to Rs1.5 million. Imad Wasim represents category C, while Iftikhar Ahmed, Hasan Ali, and Saim Ayub are listed under category D.

It’s worth noting that in addition to the monthly salary, players also receive fixed match fees and match awards across the three formats. These additional incentives contribute to the overall earnings of national team players.
