Pakistan Boosts Cyber Defences Amid Surge In Online Propaganda

Amid escalating tensions and an influx of online propaganda allegedly originating from Indian sources, Pakistani authorities have ramped up efforts to safeguard the nation’s cyber infrastructure. The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) confirmed that all relevant agencies, including the National Telecom Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT), are on high alert with continuous monitoring of critical networks and servers underway.

Speaking to Samaa TV, a PTA spokesperson assured that no significant cyberattacks on Pakistani websites have been confirmed so far. However, proactive measures such as cyber alerts, web server oversight, and rapid response protocols have been fully enforced to counter any emerging threats.
