A gentleman cadet from the Pakistan Military Academy, Kakul, was martyred during a terrorist attack on a mosque in Lakki Marwat while worshippers gathered for Maghrib prayers on Friday.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the 19-year-old cadet, Arifullah, was on leave in his hometown at the time of the incident. As the attackers opened fire, Cadet Arifullah bravely confronted the terrorists, striving to protect the innocent lives present in the mosque. Despite his courageous efforts, he ultimately embraced martyrdom while safeguarding others.

The ISPR condemned the attack as a cowardly act against worshippers, stating that such heinous actions expose the true ideology of the militants. The statement emphasized that Cadet Arifullah’s valor exemplifies the spirit of sacrifice and dedication that characterizes Pakistan’s security forces.
The ISPR reaffirmed its commitment to eradicating terrorism from the country.
