Pakistan and Iran Navies Perform Joint Passage Drill

Pakistan Navy Ships Visit Port Bandar Abbas, Iran for Maritime Cooperation

PORT BANDAR ABBAS – Pakistan Navy ships Rasadgar and Azmat, alongside a Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) ship Dasht, recently visited Port Bandar Abbas, Iran. The flotilla was led by Commodore Muhammad Umair, Commander of the 14th Destroyer Squadron.

During the visit, the Mission Commander engaged in meetings with Iran’s naval leadership to discuss matters of mutual interest, including Navy-to-Navy engagements and maritime security cooperation.

In a move to strengthen ties and improve operational coordination, the Pakistani and Iranian naval forces conducted a Passage Exercise at sea. The exercise, involving both Pakistan Navy and PMSA ships alongside an Iranian Navy ship, aimed to enhance interoperability and foster shared learning through joint maritime activities.
