Pakistan and China have agreed to expand air connectivity by encouraging airlines from both nations to launch new direct routes and increase the frequency of existing flights.
The move is part of the recently signed China-Pakistan Action Plan (2025–2029) in Beijing, which highlights civil aviation as a key pillar of people-to-people cooperation.
According to the plan, enhanced flight operations will support business communities, students, tourists, and professionals, making travel between the two countries more accessible and efficient.
Civil aviation growth is also linked with other areas of the action plan, including cultural exchanges, education, tourism, trade, and ongoing CPEC projects, ultimately strengthening regional integration and bilateral ties.
